I have just purchased a WD Caviar Green 1TB Drive (WD10EADS) and what has happend is that the Windows 7 DVD has not recognized the drive. On the Microsoft website (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Details.aspx?type=Hardware&p=Western%20Digital%20WD10EADS%20WD%20Caviar%20Green%201TB%20SATA%20Internal%20Hard%20Drive&v=Western%20Digital&uid=WD10EADS&pf=0&pi=0&s=WD10EADS&os=32-bit), for a 32-bit system, it says no action required. For a 64-bit it tells me they are still working with the device. I do not belive there are any other problems with my system (I was running Vista before) so if anyone knows where the driver for the WD10EADS can be found could be a great help.
(I have checked the WD site, no help there)

I had a 250GB Hard drive before running Vista, I took it out and the only drive in there now is the 1TB WD.

*EXTENDED TEST - This option checks your drive thoroughly and it can repair any correctable errors. (Please note: Although this option is safe and does not alter the data on your hard drive, some data loss may occur, depending on the errors found and the errors corrected. Western Digital recommends that you have a current backup of your data).
*WRITE ZEROS TO DRIVE - The Write Zeros option, wipes all data off your drive. This option used when your data is no longer usable or recoverable. If you no longer need any data from your drive and would like to start over, run this option to set your drive to an as new condition. NOTE: Please make sure that you have selected the correct drive to perform this function on as once ran, no data will be recoverable.
*VIEW TEST RESULTS - You can see the results of the test you just performed
